Not exactly. Indian burial grounds were sacred and blessed. I’m not exactly sure, but I believe the Indians almost put curses up to stop people from desecrating the grounds.

Well if it was blessed then there are no curses, but if they did curse, then it’s not blessed, it’s cursed because THEY considered it ’sacred’ so yeah, in order to protect it, they had to perform rituals to ward off infiltrators. We have TONS of old Indian burial grounds where I live and thousands of points of interest where hauntings and supernatural phenomena are commonplace.
